For two decades, Kidney Care Center has been more than just a workplace; it has been a community built on dedication, teamwork, and shared purpose. As we celebrate 20 years of service, we honor individuals who have been part of this journey for more than a decade. Their stories are a testament to the thriving culture, meaningful connections, and professional growth that define Kidney Care Center.
Jeanine Larry, who joined as an Administrative Assistant, reflects on how the work culture has shaped her decade-long career. “I truly enjoy the staff I work with. We work hard, get the job done, but also laugh and enjoy each other. You don’t find that type of teamwork and work culture everywhere,” she says. Jeanine highlights the respect and support she has received, which have allowed her to succeed professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. She cherishes the moments of collaboration and efficiency with her team. Jeanine encourages others to stay dedicated and aligned with KCC’s culture, emphasizing its importance in fostering both personal and professional growth.
Fanny Lechuga echoes similar sentiments. Starting as a Traveling Ultrasound Technician, Fanny credits the opportunity for growth and skill development as key motivators for joining KCC. “What has kept me here is the supportive company culture and the sense of being part of a family,” she shares. For her, the collaboration with different teams and the backing of upper management make the job both rewarding and fulfilling. Fanny takes pride in her professional growth and her ability to meet performance expectations. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and staying open to learning in order to thrive within the organization.
Melissa Werschkul’s story highlights the inspiration she found in leadership. Initially drawn to KCC after researching Dr. Alausa, she shares how his motivation and guidance have kept her going for over a decade. “When I started, I never thought I would stay this long, let alone rise through the ranks,” Melissa says, reflecting on her 10-year anniversary with pride and joy. She attributes her longevity to the variety in her work and the opportunity to connect with diverse groups within the organization. Melissa’s milestone of a decade with KCC stands as a testament to her resilience and adaptability. Her advice is to embrace the unique culture of KCC, noting that “different can be amazing.”
For Cynthia Almazan, who started as a receptionist, meaningful and challenging work has been a cornerstone of her experience. She takes pride in contributing to the company’s growth and emphasizes the importance of treating patients like family. “Patience is key,” she advises new employees, underscoring the values that define Kidney Care Center’s approach to patient care. Cynthia celebrates her role in supporting the company’s expansion. Her words serve as a reminder to treat patients with care and empathy, fostering trust and compassion in every interaction.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that the heart of Kidney Care Center lies in its people. Their dedication and passion are the foundation of our success, and their stories inspire us to continue building a legacy of excellence for years to come.
