Medical Director, KCC Research / Lead Principal Investigator
Dr. Tauseef Sarguroh is a board-certified nephrologist and internist and serves as Medical Director of KCC Research, where he leads the development and execution of clinical research in nephrology and cardiometabolic disease. He provides strategic oversight for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, and high-quality research operations.
Dr. Sarguroh has been with Kidney Care Center since 2015 and has held multiple leadership roles, including POD Leader at KCC Olympia Fields and Chair of Research at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. His clinical and research interests include chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and cardiorenal-metabolic therapeutics.
He is a faculty member at Midwestern University and A.T. Still University, has authored and presented peer-reviewed research at national meetings including ASN and NKF, and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Boehringer Ingelheim and a scientific speaker for Novo Nordisk and Bayer.
Principal Investigator, KCC Research
Dr. Aditya Bhartia is a dedicated nephrologist with over a decade of experience in community-based practice, bringing a strong clinical foundation and a growing commitment to research-driven care. His professional journey reflects an evolution from direct patient management to a deeper engagement with research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with kidney disease.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Bhartia’s primary focus was on developing strong hands-on clinical skills and delivering high-quality patient care, with limited involvement in research. However, after more than ten years in community nephrology practice, he has come to recognize the essential role research plays in advancing patient care and shaping better outcomes for future generations.
In recent years, the rapid expansion of therapies targeting rare renal diseases has closely aligned with Dr. Bhartia’s increasing involvement in industry-sponsored initiatives. He currently serves as a speaker for two novel therapeutic agents and is pursuing advanced certification in glomerulonephritis. These experiences have further strengthened his commitment to integrating clinical practice with research to make a meaningful impact in the field of nephrology.
Dr. Bhartia’s collaboration with KCC Clinical Research represents a mutually beneficial partnership, uniting a shared focus on innovation and patient-centered research to drive meaningful progress in nephrology.
