10 Years of Excellence – Kidney Care Center Olympia Fields

A decade ago, Kidney Care Center took the first step towards transforming kidney health in Olympia Fields. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the KCC Olympia Fields office, it’s time to look back at the incredible journey that has now become a symbol of excellence in kidney care.

A Decade of Impact

Kidney Care Center has touched the lives of countless patients and their families in the past ten years. The dedication of its physicians and staff, combined with the state-of-the-art facilities, has allowed KCC to make significant advancements in the field of kidney care. From its modest beginnings with a single physician on board in 2013 to the dynamic team of expert nephrologists in 2023, KCC Olympia Fields stands as a testament to the power of passion, commitment, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.

A Humble Beginning

In 2013, Kidney Care Center opened its doors with a vision of providing specialized care for kidney patients. Dr. Suresh Samson, a passionate nephrologist, was the first physician to join the KCC team. The Olympia Fields office, located at 3214 Vollmer Rd, rapidly became known for its outstanding kidney care in the community.

Building a Team of Experts

With the continuing demand for physicians, Dr. Tauseef Sarguroh joined the team in 2015, bringing his expertise and dedication to the mission of KCC. Two years later, in 2017, KCC moved to a new state-of-the-art facility at 3302 Vollmer Rd. This relocation allowed KCC to expand its services and accommodate more patients.

The year 2017 also marked the arrival of two esteemed nephrologists, Dr. Albara Said and Dr. Syed Hashmi. Their addition strengthened the KCC team and enhanced the range of specialized treatments available to the patients.

Expanding the Horizon

As the years passed, KCC remained committed to its mission of providing easy access to quality care to as many patients as possible. In 2020, KCC opened another office at 20121 Crawford Avenue, further expanding its presence in the south area of Chicago. Dr. Chidinma Ekenna, an expert nephrologist, joined the team that same year. Her unique expertise benefits the patients of KCC.

Thriving in Olympia Fields, KCC expanded further, launching a Harvey office in 2021 at 16540 S. Halsted St, Suite A, extending its reach. As KCC Olympia Fields celebrates its 10th anniversary, esteemed nephrologist Dr. Khalid Elharrif joined in 2022, adding another layer of excellence to KCC’s exceptional team of providers.

Celebrating a Decade of Excellence

The success of Kidney Care Center’s Olympia Fields office over the past ten years was celebrated in a joyous event held on August 17, 2023. The celebration was attended by Dr. Mohammad S. Shafi (CMO and Executive Vice Chairman), Dr. Babajide Salako (CEO), John Renzi (VP Operations), the expert providers, the amazing OF staff, and senior members of the corporate team. 

The event included speeches, an award ceremony, a cake cutting, and delicious food. The celebration encapsulated the unity, dedication, and boundless potential that define Kidney Care Center Olympia Fields’ journey and its promise for an even brighter future in patient care.
