TUNJI ALAUSA, M.D.
Tunji Alausa, M.D. is a board-certified Nephrologist. He is a founding partner of Kidney Care Center, which is involved in delivering optimal care to patients with a wide range of kidney diseases and hypertension. He is highly committed to advancing the delivery of excellent health care to the people of Joliet and the surrounding community, and has consistently worked with various agencies to try to bring this to fruition.
Dr. Alausa completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital, Chicago. He was appointed Chief Medical Resident upon completion of his residency and was responsible for co-coordinating the training programs of several interns and residents. He was also appointed to the faculty of RUSH University Medical School as an Assistant Professor, and an Attending Physician at Cook County Hospital before moving on to the prestigious Medical College of Wisconsin to pursue a specialist training in Nephrology and Hypertension.
M. SAMEER SHAFI, M.D.
M. Sameer Shafi, M.D. has built a stellar reputation for his dedication to the health and well-being of the patients in the communities in and around the Joliet area. He has dedicated his medical career to working with patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, and provides patients with comprehensive evaluations and compassionate direct patient care.
Dr. Shafi incorporates a unique blend of experience, compassion and skill. Upon completing his medical education in 1991 overseas, Dr. Shafi did a residency in Internal Medicine at Englewood Hospital, an Affiliate of the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he was appointed Chief Resident. In 1994, he completed his specialty training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Nephrology. In 2000, Dr. Shafi finished a 1-year Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Louisville.
STELLA AWUA-LARBI, M.D.
Stella Awua-Larbi, M.D. encourages patients to become active participants in their healthcare by educating them on all aspects of their disease and the treatment options available. This approach enables patients to make decisions that will complement their lifestyle and needs. Her team centered approach, involving primary care physicians, patients and their families, creates a partnership in care enabling individuals to lead their healthiest lives. Dr. Awua-Larbi is board-certified in Nephrology. She completed her fellowship at Northwestern University School of Medicine, and her residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
RASHMI BISLA, M.D.
Rashmi Bisla, MD is focused on delivering high quality care to patients with kidney related diseases. She is dedicated to open communication and has a respect for all patient questions and concerns. She understands the importance of creating a collaborative environment by educating patients on the disease and treatment process in addition to having them be actively involved in decision making related to their care. Dr. Bisla was born and raised in the Chicago area and is excited to give back to her community. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified in Nephrology. She completed her fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood IL, and her residency at University of Connecticut in Farmington CT, where she served as Chief Renal Resident.
RISHIKESH MOREY, M.D.
Rishikesh Morey, MD is dedicated to comprehensive healthcare that involves not only the patient, but the entire care team. He believes physicians should help patients make informed decisions by providing them with the most up-to-date medical information and treatment options. Dr. Rishikesh Morey is board certified in Nephrology and board certified in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship at New York Medical College - Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla, NY and his residency at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY.

Jennifer Bond, DO believes that delivering effective patient care and better health outcomes starts with a collaborative approach between the patient, primary care physicians, specialists and all care partners. Additionally, Dr. Bond strives to engage her patients through open communication and education so that they can become active participants in their healthcare.
Dr. Bond is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She completed her Nephrology and Hypertension fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, in Maywood, IL, and her residency training at Swedish Covenant Hospital, in Chicago, IL. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists, American College of Physicians, the National Kidney Foundation, American Society of Nephrology and the Renal Physicians Association.
